Steve's Artichoke-Stuffed Squid (The Photos, as Promised!)

In my "Beet Green Spanakopita" post, I'd mentioned that my wonderful boyfriend Steve was making artichoke-stuffed squid to complete the meal.  Remember?  Well, remember or not, here are the photos I got of the squid.  They're not my best (the sun was already down, so no natural light, and the back injury was preventing me from contorting myself into the weird positions I usually end up in while photographing food), but hey, I said I'd post 'em, so here they are!  It's kind of a strange thing to photograph anyway, but let me tell you, they were excellent!  They're shown here served with orzo, and went so well with the spanakopita.  Bravo, Steve!

Here's the dish in all it's glory... Tentacles and all!  I love the color!

And here's a better view of what they looked at individually.  Like I said, it was kind of a weird thing to photograph, but so damn tasty!!

Any squid lovers out there?  How about octopus?  I recently got an electric takoyaki maker (in addition to my older cast iron one) that I've yet to use... recipe and photos coming soon!  Yum!

UPDATE: Sorry for not posting a recipe initially!  Here's the recipe Steve used for this scrumptious dish: Artichoke-Stuffed Squid (Calamari) Recipe from About.com.  Steve said the only thing he changed about the recipe was paring it down to 2 servings instead of 6.  Enjoy!
